Our Purpose

When I started Cilla Hire & Co, my goal was to create a space where women could feel beautiful, confident, and empowered while making luxury fashion more accessible and sustainable through dress hire.

But over time, I realised this business could stand for something greater.

For the past three years, I have carried a deep passion for raising awareness about human trafficking — a global issue that affects millions of people around the world.

Learning about the reality of human trafficking was heartbreaking. Behind every statistic is a real person — someone with a story, dreams, and a right to freedom.

Human trafficking is the exploitation of people through force, fraud, or coercion. It can take many forms, including sex trafficking, forced labour, domestic servitude, forced marriage, criminal exploitation, and child exploitation.

Many people are unaware of how widespread this issue is, millions of people, children, sisters, brothers, cousins are without a voice and being trafficked into unnameable situations everyday, which is why awareness and education are such important steps towards creating change.

That's why we donate $2 from every dress hire to A21 to help combat human trafficking and support survivors around the world. Because every woman deserves freedom.
